The Volkl Unlimited AC50 with Motion iPT Wide ride brings the versatility of wide, big mountain skis to a new height. The AC50s relatively wide, 85mm chassis is incredibly nimble on hard snow. Built for good skiers who want to bust through crud and cruise through powder, yet still have a ski that can truly rip the groomers.

Construction – Extended Double Grip: Dual chambers extend from tip to tail, providing more support for the edges, and enabling the ideal distribution of pressure to the snow.

Shape – Wide enough for the deepest of snow conditions, yet still narrow enough for the groomed terrain.

Core – Extended Sensorwood Core made from poplar and beech woods give the AC50 extra resilience on all types of terrain. 2 sheets of titanium add strength without weight

POWERED BY TITANIUM: The top-of-the-line models in the VÖLKL Alpine ski range boast a special wood core tuning system all powered by titanium. Above and below the XTD Sensor Wood Core or XTD Wood Core, there is a layer of titanium reinforcing the ski and adding power and stability. The thin yet extremely strong aluminium alloy extends its unparalleled dampening properties particularly at high speeds.

iPT WIDERIDE_ Wide Ride improves performance in three key ways 1. The Wide Ride interface is 30% wider than the original iPT. It was developed specifically for skis 80mm and wider. 2. The toe and heel pieces for the Wide Ride system are the same design as those of the Marker Duke and Jester freeride bindings. The new components contribute to better perfor mance with a more secure wrap on the boot lug, and increased directional elasticity in the heel. 3. Lighter weight, shorter connection to the ski. Both the new toe and heel components are extremely light, allowing the skier to have a very wide ski that is as easy to handle and maneuver- able as a narrower system. This is also aided by the short overall length of the system.
