With a 13.8-meter turn radius, these skis like to make a lot of rapid turns down the fall line, very similar in comparison to a slalom ski. But they are built very light and are extremely quick edge to edge. Built for skiers who use finesse more than power, the Karuba Light wood core is bolstered by both carbon and Graphene for a fantastic combination of strength and stiffness all while keeping the weight to a minimum. They’re able to accomplish a lot of the same performance characteristics of a ski with metal laminates but at a fraction of the weight. While this is great news for lighter weight and less-aggressive skiers, it is a bit prohibitive for heavier and more advanced skiers looking to push a ski. Since most skiers spend most of their time on groomed or more manicured terrain, this build and shape comes in handy for most skiers.
