Who We Are
Ski Trucks is a family-owned, independent Ski, Snowboard and Outdoor Adventure Shop based in Salt Lake City, Utah. We’ve been fitting boots, tuning skis, building custom setups, and keeping gear in circulation for over 55 years. Every item we sell is carefully inspected, honestly represented, and priced with real-world value in mind .
We are experienced, honest, community-driven, and sustainable. Our goal is to make gear accessible while keeping it out of landfills and helping our customers enjoy the mountains safely and confidently.
 
How We Work
Whether you’re buying skis, snowboards, boots, or a full package, here’s our general process:
1) Order Placement: Select your gear and complete your purchase.
2) Setup & Fit Info: If your order requires adjustments (bindings, boots, etc.), submit a Gear Fitting Form here; https://airtable.com/app7Cle9S2JsRndfD/pag9Y5u91gRn0BHPE/form

For Snowboards with Bindings: Please include your riding stance setup and boot size.
For Skis with Bindings: We can set up your ski bindings so they’re ready to ski. To ensure the perfect setup, please provide:
✔ Skier’s Ability Level: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced
✔ Skier’s Style/Speed: Laid back, Ambitious, or Aggressive
✔ Weight: For proper binding release settings
✔ Boot Shell Length (BSL): This is different from your boot size! Typically stamped in small numbers on the side, bottom, or back of your boots, ending in “mm”
Accurate info helps us ensure your gear is safe, comfortable, and perfectly matched to you.
3) Selection & Review: For multi-item or package orders, our technicians may pull two gear options from our 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse, then send you a private link with photos and details so you can choose. We can pull additional options if needed.
For single items, we ensure they meet our quality standards and are ready to use.
4) Professional Setup: If your order includes boots with skis or a snowboard, we set up bindings so your gear arrives ready to go. For single skis, snowboards, or other items, we make any necessary adjustments based on your info.
5) Inspection & Shipping: All orders are inspected for quality and accuracy before shipping. We offer multi-item packaging, domestic and international shipping, and freight options for larger orders.
6) Ongoing Support: Questions or concerns before or after delivery? Our team is here to help with adjustments, advice, or exchanges.
 
Gear Grading & Condition Standards
New: Never used. May be in or out of original packaging and could show light cosmetic wear from handling or storage.
Demo / Excellent: Minimally used with 90%+ life remaining. Minor cosmetic wear possible; fully functional.
Good: Used gear with 40%–90% life remaining. May show minor to moderate cosmetic wear; structurally sound and fully functional.
Fair: Heavier wear with up to ~50% life remaining. Noticeable cosmetic wear and possible basic structural wear, but nothing that affects safe performance.
Shipping, Handling & Support
Pick and ship individual item orders typically ship within 1 to 3 business days, and with our Custom Built Packages it usually takes 5 to 7 days to get the process completed and shipped (excluding weekends and holidays) from Utah and are packed carefully so your gear arrives ready to use. Tracking is provided on all shipments. We’re happy to combine shipping when possible, just reach out before purchasing.
