What is Disc Golf?
Disc golf (aka frisbee golf) is a fun, low-cost outdoor sport where players throw flying discs at metal baskets. Like traditional golf, the goal is to complete each hole in as few throws as possible. It's easy to learn, suitable for all ages, and perfect for exploring local parks and green spaces.

How a Disc Golf Course Works
Tees: Where you start each hole. Usually a concrete or marked-off area.
Fairway: The main path between the tee and basket.
Basket: The target—made of chains and a basket to catch the disc.
Par: The number of throws a skilled player should need to complete the hole.

Types of Discs
There are three main types of discs, each with unique flight characteristics.
Driver: Designed for long-distance throws
Mid-Range: Balanced control and distance—great for approach shots
Putter: Used for short throws and putting into the basket
Each disc also varies in speed, glide, turn, and fade—more advanced players build out their collection to suit different shots.

Green grass fairways with large old growth trees. Short technical shots with several longer par 3s on the back. Course plays tight - adjacent fairways in close proximity. Several mandys, please be careful. In the spring, the Jordan River runs high and swift along the east side of the course. Scorecards/maps in mailbox by 1st tee.

Some open, some hilly, some tight fairways with scenic mountain views, a rushing creek, and Russian olive bush/hazards. Well maintained grass fairways with nice mix of oak and cottonwood trees. There are two practice baskets—one closest to pavilion being the basket for hole "21". The disc golf course at Creekside Park was first established in 1982 and might be one of the first 100 disc golf polehole courses in existence.
Course is dog friendly with an "eight foot leash law". This is largely ignored and many players and pedestrians bring their dogs to this park, if you aren't sure about how your puppy will play with others then it would be best to keep a leash on it.

Manicured with grass fairways and tree coverage on the front 9. The back 9 plays through weeded fields with less tree coverage. Summer months will have trimmed weeds in the back 9. Multiple basket locations for most holes. Very cart friendly.

Basic, easy course in Woods Cross UT. 12 holes squeezed between athletic fields, a playground, and homes. Fairways are placed on top, or close to walking paths and fence lines.

A brand new course in the newly opened Bingham Creek Regional Park. Offers 18 holes among the creek, trails, and biking areas.

18 hole course with 2 layouts. Beginner and Advanced. The course has 2 layouts to play, with 9 of the holes having beginner "red" baskets to play to. The course also has white stakes marking the out-of-bounds area. The course is in a wide open field, so to get the most challenging and fun layout, play beyond the white stakes as out of bounds.
This course is in it's infancy, and with your help, we can make it amazing. Come play, be kind in your reviews, and realize that this is a work in progress in an open space.
IMPORTANT: NO SMOKING. The course is a tinder box -- follow the law and do not smoke in designated park areas.
WARNING: Police are very active for open containers, drug use and public urination. There’s restrooms in the parking lot and a portapotty between hole 5 and 15.

A fun and beginner friendly course to challenge beginning level players and families alike. A few holes have some teeth to make It a fun challenge for experienced players. Many greens are in hillsides and there is a walk up to tree holes that can be a challenge for people with limited abilities.
DO NOT TRESPASS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY TO RETRIEVE DISCS

A well-kept 9-hole course set in a grassy park with plenty of mature trees. Creative mandos add a fun and challenging twist to several holes, making it a great stop for casual players and locals alike.

Community course, but privately maintained by the local disc golf club. All holes are par three. Front nine focused on grass and open areas; exception is hole 6, a very difficult hole if you are going for a Birdie (one under par). The back nine is designed to be tough; we call it the "Outback Nine." Lots of trees and hills. A spotter is highly recommended. A nine hole, all 2-par, putting course starts behind course sign. Park sits below the Suncrest saddle/pass, so wind is frequently blowing. Heavier discs are recommended. Several tournaments are held during the year. Look up course on Facebook, Google, or Yelp for details.

Brighton Ski Resort's Majestic 18 course was officially installed in 2023 with the intention of becoming the world's best mountain course. The course starts at the top of the Majestic chairlift and plays across the mid mountain bowl between Snake Creek and Crest lifts before finishing under the Majestic chairlift with beautiful views of Big Cottonwood Canyon. The course currently features red (beginner/intermediate) and white (advanced) tee pads to accommodate all skill levels. We have intentions of installing our blue (pro) level tee pads within the next 2 years (ETA 2026). The course has some big open shots, tight wooded corridors, and quite a few technical par 4s that will test all aspects of your game.
The chairlift currently runs from Friday - Sunday, 10:00am to 5:00pm and costs $15 per ride. Please make sure to bring brightly colored discs, water, snacks, bug spray, and some friends to help spot. You can also hike into the course using the Lake Mary trail, this hike takes about 30 minutes.
The Rose lodge has food and beverages available while the chairlift is running. Restrooms and water can be found inside the Brighton Center and The Rose lodges. Souvenirs, including Brighton discs, can be found at yellow Logo Shop and at the convenient store located near the round-a-bout.
Rentals can be purchased in the Rental Shop, located on the 2nd floor of the Brighton Center. Each package includes 1 putter, 1 midrange, 1 driver and a carrying bag. A $10 fee will be applied for any lost discs.
Lost discs should be returned to the drop box located at the bottom of the Majestic lift in the black mailbox. Texts will be sent out to all owners weekly. Lost discs will be held at our customer service desk (located on the 3rd floor of the Brighton Center) until the end of the season and then donated.
