♻️ Gear for Good:

Sustainability & Recycling at Ski Trucks

At Ski Trucks, we believe that outdoor adventure shouldn't come at the cost of our planet.

As Utah’s largest ski and snowboard warehouse, we’ve made it our mission to keep gear

on the mountain and out of the landfill.

Love the Earth

Our Commitment
to Sustainability

For over 55 years, Ski Trucks has operated with a passion for reducing waste and giving gear a second (or third!) life. Our warehouse is full of high-quality new and used skis, snowboards, boots, and gear that have been repaired, restored, or repurposed for continued use. Every item that gets reused is one less piece of equipment taking up space in a landfill.

Responsible Recycling
with CHaRM Events

We’re proud partners of the Utah Recycling Alliance and their CHaRM (Collection of Hard-to-Recycle Materials) events.

These events offer a sustainable solution for recycling gear and materials that don't belong in your curbside bin—including broken skis, old boots, and more.

Want to recycle old or broken gear? Join us at an upcoming CHaRM event: Learn about CHaRM Events

What We Accept for Recycling

We can help you responsibly dispose of:

  • Damaged or broken skis and snowboards

  • Cracked or outdated boots

  • Excess bindings, poles, or parts

  • Gear that no longer meets safety standards

If we can’t repair or repurpose it, we’ll work with partners like CHaRM to make sure it’s properly recycled.

Small Steps, Big Impact

By supporting secondhand gear, trading in your old setup, and recycling what you can’t use, you're making a difference. Sustainability starts with smart choices—and we're here to help make them easier.

Thanks for helping us keep the slopes (and the planet)

a little cleaner.
