Glide uses a coating that was used by the Department of Defense for application on submarines to allow them to glide long distances, 10 percent more efficiently. The other benefit of this technology was that any object it was applied to was able to absorb 600 times the abuse that it could normally withstand, while adding next to no additional weight. All Glide boards come with a deck pad made of EVA foam which is incredibly comfortable on the feet and are great for yoga.
